Andrew,

I still can't find where the details are of Hillary's expansion. I hope that you will tell me where I am wrong. Her website says that she wants to help those treated unfairly. But she doesn't say how. You mentioned that the care giver idea mirrors that of Rep. Lowry. What I can't find is where Clinton says what she is bidding...

I appreciate the thought, and have done a lot of that. I am writing an article right now about the lack of plan. I still can't find Clinton telling us what she will do on either.

This is her site policy briefing :

"Hillary Clinton believes this is an idea whose time has come: Americans should receive credit toward their Social Security benefits when they are out of the paid workforce because they are acting as caregivers." The question is how?

She says : " For years, leaders like Congresswoman Nita Lowey have called out these disparities." but she doesn't say that she would follow the same course.

Bernie has a dumb plan, but it is in writing and offers people the opportunity to scrutinize it. Hillary says that the system needs to change, but can't say how.

There's an article around where her campaign says her proposal would be modeled after Loweys; and there are other docs around giving details and examples on Lowey's proposal. That gives you a reasonable idea of what she's asking for.
