Financial Report of the United States available online

The Treasury Department has released the 2008 Financial Report of the United States, which includes extensive discussion of Social Security and other long-term obligations. Get your copy here.

Andrew your link pulls up (for me anyway) the Understanding the Primary Components of the 2005 Report.

A little googling found the Citizens Guide to the 2008 Report here

Which seems to be a little dumbed down from its 2005 apparent counterpart. On the other hand the full 194 pg Report is available at:
